Technical and domain reviewers
Future reviewers may bring security testing, data-protection expertise, clinical workflow knowledge or financial operations experience. Competence must match the assigned controls — and be documented for each engagement.
Independence rules
The person or organization that implements the assessed controls must not make the final certification decision. Conflicts, consulting relationships and financial interests are declared and managed. Independent review does not mean every contributor is a stranger; it means the decision is protected from self-certification.
Insurers and brokers: join the conversation
Insurers and brokers can later advise which evidence actually supports underwriting decisions — and the policy-ready dossier is being shaped for exactly that dialogue. No such agreement exists today.
